The versioned TrueCOLA methodology paper is being prepared and will be published here before any data report ships. It documents every data source, every transformation, and the computation rule applied to every value that appears in a published report.

Every federal source is retrieved from its official agency portal and logged with a timestamp, source URL, and SHA-256 hash. Re-running the same monthly cycle with the same inputs produces byte-identical output.
